What’s New with FX Photo Booths in 2024?
2023 was a very busy year for FX Photo Booths and 2024 promises to be even busier. Some highlights of 2023 include the following:
- We serviced / completed over 200 photo booth events between Lancaster, Harrisburg, Hershey and York.
- Over twenty events included multiple photo booths for the even more included multiple photo booth experiences for the event. (example: Weddings with a Mirror Booth rental that also included a digital selfie station component for added guest fun and experiences).
- Our furthest photo booth event 2023 was in Belmar, NJ, about 160 miles east of our warehouse in Mount Joy. Furthest south, was Baltimore, MD for an annual gala event.
- We completed over 100 weddings in 2023 among all of our events. We were also named The Knot’s Best of Wedding and WeddingWire Couples Choice Winner in the photo booth category for 2024. This is eight years running for both services.
- We attended 20 Bridal Shows and Open Houses in 2023 – you cannot underestimate the effort and energy that goes into these events : ) Venues included: The Star Barn and Harvest View Barn at Hershey Farms in Elizabethtown, The Englewood (Hershey), The Bond (York), The Historic Round Barn (Biglerville), The Gettysburg Hotel and the Historic King Mansion (Harrisburg), to just name a few.
- Additionally, we supported a number of community based events and foundations during 2023. We are especially proud of the opportunities we’ve had to give back and contribute to these organizations.
2024 will be even busier. What’s new at FX Photo Booths for 2024?
- Full-time professional service: more than a photo booth rental service, we are a full-time agency focused on content creation and creative photo booth experiences.
- NEW Warehouse / Studio: In December 2023, we moved into a warehouse space in Mount Joy. We simply ran out of room at home for all of our photo booth equipment, backdrops, props, etc. As of today, we have 14 photo booth options, 80 backdrop options and literally thousands of themed props. More importantly, the new space allows us to operate a studio for testing and creating content, while also providing us the opportunity to collaborate with other event vendors and do photo booth specific training on a routine basis. - Team Growth Expansion: We are gradually expanding our team. As many event industry professionals have experienced, it is difficult to find good event staff. We are slowly but steadily getting there in terms of finding staff. - New Photo Booth Options: in mid-2023, we added the Icon Photo Booth to our inventory. It has been really well received and people love the retro-modern / vintage aesthetic. Many times people refer to it as a “vintage booth” but it is anything but vintage with the technology it offers in terms of experiences. We have also added three additional photo booths which are a hybrid Ipad/DSLR style, including the Star Photo Booth with its own unique aesthetic appeal. In the next month, we will be adding a 360 Photo Booth to our list of options.
- Photo Booth Experiences: while equipment is fundamental to our business, our focus is creating immersive photo & video experiences. - Susquehanna Style magazine just named FX Photo Booths the Best of Photo Booth for 2024 in York and Adams County. We do work a lot in York and Adams County, but this was quite the surprise for us as we did even know we were nominated for the accolade. More to come about this in the near future.
This is just a sampling of the new exciting things happening at FX Photo Booths. 2024 is going to be an exciting and busy year with much more planned in terms of experiences and entertainment options from FX Photo Booths. And, in July of this year, we celebrate our 10th Year in business! Holy cow! Time has flown!
